meta.morfx war der gemeinnützige Kulturverein mit Sitz im oberösterreichischen Innviertel, der 2001 gegründet worden ist, und unabhängiger Errichter und Betreiber des autonomen Veranstaltungsraums SAKOG war. Seit 1.11.2010 wird das Sakog von der Kulturwerk GmbH betrieben.

Vorrangiges Ziel war und ist es, jugend- und zeitkulturellen Anliegen und Produktionen, abseits von Mainstream und Profitprinzip, einen festen Platz in einer diesbezüglich brachliegenden Region zu sichern.

Der Mangel an Infrastruktur eigene künstlerische Projekte umzusetzen und zu präsentieren war die Motivation den Schritt zu wagen, einen speziell auf die Bedürfnisse kreativ Schaffender maßgeschneiderten Raum zu kreieren.

Founded in 2001 meta.morfx is a non-profit cultural association located in the Upper Austrian Innviertel and is independent creator and operator of the autonomous event location SAKOG.

The predominant aim was and is to provide a space for contemporary youth cultural interests and productions, aloof of mainstream and profit orientation, in a, in this respect, rather fallow region.

The lack of infrastructure to realise and present own artistic projects provided the leading motivation to venture the step into creating a space, especially tailor-made to meet the requirements of creatively productive artists.
