Als "fluktuierende" Location bedarf es permanent fließendem Inhalt. Aus diesem Grund versteht sich der Verein als rechtlichen, infrastrukturellen, sowie finanziellen Überbau für die Ideen und Projekte seiner Mitglieder, Konspiranten und "Sonstige". Die Schwerpunktsetzung auf ein, unter simplen Rahmenbedingungen, frei zugängiges Arbeitsfeld und der Konzeption der Räumlichkeiten zum freien Experimentieren, sollen das SAKOG als Produktionsstätte aktueller Gegenwartskultur etablieren.

Das Konzept basiert auf der Idee einer emanzipierten, nach allen Seiten offenen Kulturarbeit,die sich jedoch bewusst gegen diskriminierende und politisch extremistische Strömungen stellt und den Entwicklungen in Kultur, Gesellschaft und Politik kritisch gegenüber steht. So ist es unter anderem erklärtes Ziel, der überhöhten Preispolitik anderer Veranstalter und Kulturinstitutionen entgegen zu wirken.

Zu dieser Linie einer Non-Profit Ideologie gehört auch der Verzicht auf Sponsorgelder, die auf der Gegenleistung von Werbung oder Schleichwerbung beruhen und so ist die gesamte Location schon aus Prinzip als No-Logo Area ausgelegt.

künstlerisches Konzept
Das SAKOG ist als "Mehrsparten-Kulturzentrum" konzipiert. Das Angebot aus Musik, Tanz, Theater, Kleinkunst und Literatur soll inhaltlich einen Querschnitt durch das gesamte Spektrum aktueller Gegenwartskunst bilden und reicht von Konzerten der unterschiedlichsten Musikrichtungen (Rock, Jazz, Reggae, Techno, HipHop, Electro, Avantgarde...) über zeitgenössische Bühnenveranstaltungen bis hin zu Workshops zur Förderung des individuellen künstlerischen Potentials.

Neben der Präsentation internationaler Größen und bereits renommierter heimischer Künstler, ist die Etablierung der lokalen Szene eines der wichtigsten Anliegen der künstlerischen Leitung. In der Umsetzung des Ziels, als Drehscheibe für freie Kulturarbeit zu fungieren, stehen Vernetzung, Unterstützung, Beratung, Kooperation, sowie Weiterbildung im Mittelpunkt.

Somit wird Jugendkultur also zu einer lebendigen, nach vielen Seiten offenen, niemals konstanten Angelegenheit. "meta.morfx ist unser Begriff

The focus on a, under simple condi- tions, freely accessible work field, and on a room concept cut out for free experimenting are meant to establish the SAKOG as a production site for present-day culture and arts.

The guiding principle is based on the idea of emancipated cultural work open to all sides but, at the same time, consciously objects to discriminating and political extremist drifts and throws a critical light on the developments in culture, society, and politics. Among others, one of the aims is to counteract against the excessive price politics of other event organisers and cultural institutions.

Part of this non-profit ideology is the rejection of sponsoring money demanding advertising or masked advertising in return and so the entire location is, on principle, designed as a no logo area.

artistic concept
The SAKOG is outlined as a "multi-branch cultural centre". The program, covering music, dance, theatre, cabaret, and literature, is meant to build a cross-section through the entire spectrum of present-day arts and ranges from concerts of different styles over contempora- ry stage events to workshops supporting individual artistic potential.

In addition to presenting great international figures and well-known Austrian artists, esta- blishing the local scene is one of the most important concerns of the art direction. In achie- ving the aim to function as a turntable for free cultural work, networking, support, guidance, cooperation, as well as further development stand in the centre of attention.

So, youth culture is seen as a lively, never constant matter open to all sides.
